유아교육교사(Qualified Teacher) 기술이민 신청시 최우선 심사 적용 확인

 

뉴질랜드 이민국은 지난 5월 4일 INZ Operational Manual(업무방법서)의 변경 내용을 발표하였습니다.

현재 기술이민 심사가 상당히 지체되고 있는 상황하에서, 최우선 적용(First Priority) 기준을 업데이트 하였습니다.

내용중 일부를 안내하여 드립니다.

 

 

A16.1 General Instructions as to the order of processing visa applications

Under section 26(4) of the Immigration Act 2009 and acting under delegated authority from the Chief Executive

of the Ministry of the Business, Innovation, and Employment, I give the following general instructions as to the

order and manner of processing of visa applications under Government instructions, effective from 27 April

2021:

 

Residence Applications

a. First priority will be given to:

i. Residence class visas either where the applicant is in New Zealand or where the applicant is currently in and has lodged a residence class visa application from within a Quarantine-Free Travel (QFT) Zone. Within this, further prioritisation criteria will apply to applications made under the following categories:

 

o For the Skilled Migrant Category (SMC), priority will be given to applications with job offers where:

- Applicants have an hourly rate equivalent to or higher than twice the median wage (currently $51.00 per hour or an annual salary of $106,080 or more);

- Applicants hold current occupational registration where registration is

required by immigration instructions;

 

4월 27일이후 신청된 기술이민에 대하여 뉴질랜드 이민국은 1)시급 $51을 받는 경우, 2)이민성에서 요구한 직업 등록군의 자격증을 보유한 경우에 한하여 최우선 심사를 적용하기로 하였습니다. 현재 이민성 기술이민 신청 처리기간은 21개월이상이 소요되고 있습니다. (INZ Processing Time 링크참고)

 

유아교육교사는, Teaching Level7 학력을 이수함으로써 Qualified Teacher가 되고, 졸업서류를 가지고 뉴질랜드 교사협회에 등록신청이(링크) 가능합니다 (졸업후 약 한달소요). 이렇게 교사협회 등록이 되면 Certified Teacher로 등록증을 보유하게 됩니다. Certified ECE Teacher로써 기술이민(영주권) 신청시 빠른 경우 2개월이내 승인이 나기도 합니다.
